Master Tong’s Acupuncture differs from Classical acupuncture in the aspect that is uses various area’s of the body and less on the channels and collateral’s. However it does have relationship to the channels and collateral’s by way of Zhang-Fu correspondence.

Fingers Area 11: Name:

11.01 Da Jia / Dae Kan (Great space) Location: Palmar side of the proximal phalanx of the index finger, on the middle B line (Bisection).
Indications: Heart disease, knee pain, small intestines pain, Shan disorder (hernia), eye canthi pain, testis pain.

11.02 Xiao Jian / So Kan (Small space) Location: Palmar side of the proximal phalanx of the index finger, on a distal quarter of the B line (quadrisection)
Indications: Bronchitis, yellow phlegm, suffocating sensation, palpatations, knee pain, small intestines pain, Shan disorder (hernia), eye canthi pain,enteritis (LI)

11.03 Fu Jian / Bu Kan (floating space) Location: Palmar side of the middle phalanx of the index finger, on the distal 1/3 of B line (Trisection)
Indications: Shan disorder, UTI, small intestines disease, toothache, stomachache.

11.04 Wai Jian / Wai Kan (External space) Location: Palmar side of the middle phalanx of the index finger, on the proximal 1/3 of B line (Trisection)
Indications: Shan disorder, UTI, small intestines disease, toothache, stomachache.

11.05 Zhong Jian / Zoong Kan (Middle Space) Location: Palmar side of the proximal phalanx of the index finger, on the middle of the C line (Bisection)
Indications: Palpatation, Suffocation sensation, knee pain, vertigo, dizziness, Shan disorder.

11.06 Huan Chao / Huan So (Return to Nest) Location: On the palmar side of the middle phalanx of the ring finger, on the midpoint of the E line (Bisection)
Indications: Gynecology/OB: Uterine Cancer, uterine tumor, uterus issues, blocked oviduct, irregular menstration, vaginal discharge, ovaritis, ovarian cyst, prevent miscarriage.

11.07 Zhi Sa Ma (finger Horse) Location: On the back side of the middle phalanx of the index finger, 3 points on the F line (Quadrisection).
(3 points) Indications: Pleuritis, hypocondriac pain, skin disease, freckles, rhinitis, tinnitus, otitis, chest pain.

11.08 Zhi Wu Jin / Zhi Oh Keum (5000 metal finger) Location: On the back side of the proximal phalanx of the index finger, 2 points on the F line (Trisection).
(2 points) Indications: Enteritis, Hypogastralgia, fish bone throat.

11.09 Xin Xi / Xim Seul (Heart knee) Location: On the back of the middle phalanx of the middle finger, one is on the midpoint of the F and the othr is on the H line (Bisection)
(2 points) Indications: Knee pain, shoulder pain.

11.10 Mu Huo / Mock Hua(Wood fire) Location: On the back of the middle finger, at the midpont of the transverse crease of the distal interphalangeal joint on the G line.
Indications: Hemiparesis, stroke, sequela of CVA.

11.11 Fei Xin / Fei Xim(heart hungs) Location: On the back of the middle phalanx of the middle finger, two points are on the G line (Trisection).
(2 points) Indications: Spinal column pain, neck pain, calf pain, achilles tendon pain.

11.12 Er Jiao Ming / Yi kack Myung (2 corner bright) Location: On the back of the proximal phalanx of the middle finger, two points are located on the G line by trisection.
(2 points) Indications: Acute lumbar pain, nasal bone pain, frontal headache, body ache.

11.13 Dan / Dam Hyul (Gallbladder site) Location: On the back of the proximal phalanx of the middle finger, two points are located on the midpoints of the F line and the H line by bisection.
(2 points) Indications: Infantile convulsions, knee pain, baby night crying.

11.14 Zhi San Zhong / Zhi Sam Zhoong (3 finger measure) Location: On the back of the middle phalanx of the ring finger, three points are located on the F line by quadrisection.
(3 Points) Indications: Stroke, facial paralysis, mastitis, muscle atrophy, migraine.

11.15 Zhin Shen / Zhi Shin (Kidney’s finger) Location: On the back of the proximal phalanx of the ring finger, three points are located on the F line by quadrisection.
(3 Points) Indications: Dry mouth, kidney def. , Heart disease, upper back pain.

11.16 Huo Xi / Hua Seul (Fire knee) SI1 Location: On the dorsal aspect of the little finger, at the junction of lines drawn along the alnar border of the nail, and the base of the nail, approx. 0.1 cun from nail corner.
Indications: Knee pain, arthritis, rheumatic heart disease, rheumatism.

11.17 Mu Xue / Mock hyul (Wood Cave) Location: On the palmar aspect of the proximal phalanx of the index finger, two points are located on the D line by trisection.
Indications: Common cold, Eczema on the hands, runny nose, Liver fire flare up.

11.18 Pi Zhong / Bi Zhong (Spleen Enlargement) Location: Palmar side of the middle phalanx of the middle finger, two points of the C line (trisection)
(2 points) Indications: Splenomegaly, inflammation of spleen.

11.19 Xin chang / Xim Sang (Usual heart) Location: Palmar side of the proximal phalanx of the middle finger, on the 3 points of D line quadrasection.
(3 Points) Indications: Palpatations, heart disease, Lung cancer, pulmonary tuberculosis, chest pain).

11.20 Mu Yan / Mock Yum (Wood flare up) Location: On the palmar aspect of the middle phalanx of the ring finger, two points are located on the D line by trisection.
(2 points) Indications: Hepatitis, Hepatomegaly, Liver cirrhosis.

11.21 San Yan / Sam Yan (3 eyes) Location: On the palmar aspect of the proximal phalanx of the ring finger, at the distal 1/3 of the B line by trisection.
Indications: Tonifying effects like ST36.

11.22 Fu Yuan / Bock Won (Source recovery) Location: On the palmar aspect of the middle phalanx of the ring finger, three points are located on the D line by quadrisection.
(3 Points) Indications: Hyperplastic Osteoarthritis.

11.23 Yan Huang / Yan Hwang (Yellow eyes) Location: On the palmar aspect of the middle phalanx of the little finger, at the middle of the C line by bisection.
Indications: Jaundice.

11.24 Fu Ke / Bu gua (Woman’s specialty) Location: On the back of the proximal phalanx of the thumb, 5 points are located on the F line by hexasection.
(5 points) Indications: Gynocology/OB: Uterine Cancer, uterine tumor, uterus issues, blocked oviduct, irregular menstruation, vaginal discharge, ovaritis, ovarian cyst, prevent miscarriage.

11.25 Zhi Xian / Zhi Yon (Stop the Drool) Location: On the back of the proximal phalanx of the thumb, two points are located on the H line by trisection.
(2 points) Indications: Continous drooling in children and stroke patients.

11.26 Zhi Wu / Zhi Oh (Control Soil) Location: On the back of the proximal phalanx of the thumb, 3 points are located on the G line by Quadrisection.
(5 points) Indications: Chronic abscesses, malignancies, non-healing wounds post surgery.

11.27 Wu Hu / Oh Ho (5 tigers) Location: On the palmar aspect of the proximal phalanx of the thumb, 5 points are located A line by hexasecion.
(5 points) Indications: Whole body arthritis, lympaderitis of cervical area, Pnemonia, Bronchatis, Liver cirrhosis, hepatomegaly.

Fingers Area Extra: Name:

Check Kan (side space) Location: Palmar side of the proximal phalanx of the index finger, on a proximal quarter of B line (Quadrisection).
Indications: Bronchitis, yellow phlegm, plum,-pit, keratitis, stye, shan disorder, suffocation feeling, palpitations, knee pain, child asthma, bloating, tonsilitis, eteritis.

Ha Kan (Space Below) Location: Palmar side of the middle phalanx of the index finger, on the middle C line Bisection.
Indications: Shan disorder, UTI, Small intestines disease, toothache, stomachache.

In Yang (human aura) Location: Palmar side of the middle phalanx of the index finger, on the middle A line Bisection.
Indications: Testis, testiculoma, scrotal dropsy, glans pain, prostatauxe, undescended testes, shan disorder.

Zhi Yang (Earth aura) Location: Palmar side of the middle phalanx of the index finger, on the proximal quarter of A line Quadrisection.
Indications: Testis, testiculoma, scrotal dropsy, glans pain, prostatauxe, undescended testes, shan disorder.

Chun Yang (Heaven aura) Location: Palmar side of the middle phalanx of the index finger, on a distal quarter of A line Quadrisection.
Indications: Testis, testiculoma, scrotal dropsy, glans pain, prostatauxe, undescended testes, shan disorder.

Nae Eum (Shade) Location: Palmar side fo the distal phalanx of the index finger, on the distal quarter of A line (quadrisection)
Indications: Testis, testiculoma, scrotal dropsy, glans pain, prostatauxe, undescended testes, shan disorder.

Chim Eum (Wood site) Location: Palmar side of the proximal phalanx of the index finger, on the 2 points on D line (trisection).
Indications: Common cold, eczema on hand, runny nose, Liver Yang fire.

Mock Hyul (Star fire) Location: Palmar side of the proximal and middle phalanx of the middle finger, one is the center of the proximal phalanx, the other is on the center of the middle phalanx, two middle points of C line bisection.
Indications: Palpatations, vertigo, angina pectoris, asthma, shoulder pain, chest pain, bone cancer, gastric ulcer.

Mock hua (wood flower) Location: Palmar side of the middle phalanx of the middle finger, one is the middle of the A line, the other is the middle of E line Bisection.
Indications: Calf chronic pain, bloating, splenomengaly, shoulder pain.

To Heung (thriving soil) Location: Palmar side of the proximal phalanx of the middle finger, on the proximal and the distal quarter of the C line quadrisection.
Indications: Stomach cancer, gastritis, spleen issues, hypochondriac pain, frontal headache, toothache, gingivitis.

Bong so (Pheonix Nest) Location: Palmar side of the ring finger, 3 points are on the A line (quardrisection).
Indications: Gynecology/OB: Uterine Cancer, uterine tumor, uterus issues, blocked oviduct, irregular menstration, vaginal discharge, ovaritis, ovarian cyst, prent miscarriage, infertility.

Hand area 22: Korean Name:

22.01 Zhong Zi / Joong Ja (Heavy child) Location: On the palmar side of hand, 1 cun proximal from the margin of the web between the first and second metacarpals.
Indications: Upper back pain, pneumonia, common cold, cough,asthma, lung cancer, palpitation, knee pain.

22.02 Zhong Xian / Joong sun (Heavy Immortal) Location: On the palmar side of hand, in the depression lying immediately distal to the bases of the first and second metacarpals.
Indications: Upper Back pain (BL43) pneumania, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, fever, palpitations, knee pain, sciatica, tremor of hand, uterine myoma, ovritis.

22.03 Shang Bai / Shang Back (Upper White) Location: On the back of the hand, in the depression just proximal to the second and thrid metacarpophalangeal joints.
Indications: Redness on both canthi of eyes, sciatica, chest pain, wrist sprain, cervical pain.

22.04 Da Bai / Dae Back (Great White) LI3 Location: LI3, on the radial side of the index finger, in the depression proxiamal to the head of the second metacarpal bone.
Indications: Asthma, Fever, Sciatica due to lung infection, pneumonia.

22.05 Ling Gu / Yong go (Spirit Bone) Location: On the back side of the hand in the depression immedietly distal to the basis of the first and second metacarpals.
Indications: Sciatica, Lower back pain, lower leg pain, facial paralysis, hemiphelia, irregualr menstruation, frozen shoulder, upper back pain, tinnitus, migraine, abdominal pain, knee pain, spine pain.

22.06 Zhong Bai / Joong Back (Middle White) TE3 Location: TE3, on the back of the hand, in the depression immediately proximal to the 4th and 5th metacarpophalangeal joint.
Indications: Kidney Def. back pain, upper back pain, dizziness, blurred vision, pain of external malleolus, 4 limb edema, tired, hypertension, frontal headache, back pain standing and sitting.

22.07 Xia Bai / Ha Back (Below white) Location: On the back of the hand, in the depression immediately distal to the bases of the 4th and 5th metacarpals.
Indications: Tooth ache, kidney def. back pain, upper back pain, dizziness, blurred vision, pain of external malleolus, 4 limb edema, tired, hypertension, frontal headache, back pain standing and sitting.

22.08 Wan Shun Yi / Wan Shun il (normal wrist flow 1) SI3 Location: SI3, on the ulnar side, proxiamal to the the 5th methacarop-phalangeal joint, at the end of the transverse crease at the junction of red and white skin.
Indications: Kidney Def. symptoms, floater in eye, sciatica, tired, renal disorder, lower back pain both sides, upper back pain.


22.09 Wan Shu Er / Wan shun yi (Normal wrist flow 2)
Location: On the ulnar side, 1 cun proximal to Wan Shun il on the junction of the red and white skin.
Indications: Epistaxis, Luozhen, tinnitus, abdominal distention, Kidney def. symptoms, eye floaters, sciatica, tired, renal disorders, lower back pain both sides, upper back pain

22.10 Shou Jie / Soo hae (Hand Release) HT8 Location: HT8, on the palm, in the depression between the 4th and 5th metacarpal bones, where the tip of the little finger rests when a fist is made.
Indications: Any side effect after acupuncture, dizzines, pain, numbness.

22.11 Tu Shui / To Soo (Earth Water) Location: On the radial side, on the junction of the red and white skin, 3 points by quadrisection of the first metatarsal bone.
(3 points) Indications: Gastric pain, chronic digestive problems, finger or hand pain, asthma, common cold.

Nae Back (Inside White) Location: On the back of the hand, in the depression just proximal to the second and thrid metacarpophalangeal joints.
Indications: Urticaria, Vitiligo, chronic pancreatitis, splenomengaly, gums swelling, gingivitis, lower back pain, sciatica, dermatitis.

Wei Back (Outside white) Location: On the back of the hand, in the depressions immediately distal to the bases of the 3rd and 4th metacarpals.
Indications: Urticaria, Vitiligo, chronic pancreatitis, splenomengaly, gums swelling, gingivitis, lower back pain, sciatica, dermatitis, trigeminal neuralia, intercoastal neuraligia.

Boon Back (Separate white) Location: On the back of the hand, in the depressions immediately distal to the bases of the 2nd and 3rd metacarpals.
Indications: Kerititis, conjunctivitis, blurred vision, myopia, sciatica, chest pain, back pain,

Sam kyun (3 shoulder) Location: On the dorsal of the hand, ulnar border of the first metacarpal bone, 3 points by quadrisection.
(3 points) Indications: Frozen shoulder, scapular area pain, neck pain.

Shang Ko (Upper High) Location: On the palm, between the 4th and 5th metacarpals, 1 cun proximal to Soo Hae 22.10.
(2 points Indications: Conjunctivitis, Appendicitis, grow in height.

Gol Kwan (Bone Gate) Location: On the palm, 1 cun distal to the center of the wrist crease, 0.5 cun to radial side.
Indications: Sciatica, Hemiplegia, Ostero spondylosis, duodenal ulcer, gout, medicinal poisioning, heel pain.

Mock kwan (Wood Gate) Location: On the palm, 1 cun distal to the center of the wrist crease, 0.5 cun to ulnar side.
Indications: Lower back pain, Chest stuffiness, Hypochondriac pain, sciatica, thigh pain, peritonitis, arthritis, gout, medicinal poisioning, heel pain.

Sam Cha il (3 cross 1) Location: Proximal to the web margin between the second and third fingers.
Indications: Keratitis, Opththalmalgia, lower back pain, sciatica, thigh pain, frontal headache, atrophy of optic nerve, hemiplegia.

Sam Cha Yi (3 cross 2) Location: Proximal to the web margin between the third and fourth fingers.
Indications: Splenomegaly, hemiphlegia, sciatica, thigh pain.

Sam cha sam (3 cross 3) Location: Proximal to the web margin between the fourth and fifth fingers.
Indications: severe cold, vertigo, dizziness, sciatica, thigh pain, osteophyte, lower back pain, pyelitis.

Forearem Area 33: Korean name:

33.01 Qi Men / Ki Mun (This door) Location: On the radial side of the forearm, 2 cun above the wrist crease, on the line connecting LI5 and LI11.
Indications: Irregular menstruation, Leukorrhea, Prolapse of the anus, hemerroid, toothache, ovaritis, metritis, gonorrhea, peritonities, diarrhea, uterine myoma,UTI.

33.02 Qi Jiao/ Ki Gak (This horn) Location: 2 cun above Ki Mun
Indications: Irregular menstruation, Leukorrhea, Prolapse of the anus, hemerroid, toothache, ovaritis, metritis, gonorrhea, peritonities, diarrhea, uterine myoma,UTI.

33.03 Qi Zheng / Ki Jung (This upright) Location: 4 cun above Ki Mun
Indications: Irregular menstruation, Leukorrhea, Prolapse of the anus, hemerroid, toothache, ovaritis, metritis, gonorrhea, peritonities, diarrhea, uterine myoma,UTI.

33.04 Huo chuan / Hua Kwan (String the fire together) Location: TE6 on the back of forearm, 3 cun proximal to wrist crease, in the dperession between radius and ulnar.
Indications: Constipation, palpitations, forearm pain, chest pain, upper back pain, hypochondriac pain.

33.05 Huo Ling / Hua Reung (Fire mound) Location: On the back of the forearem, 5 cun proximal to wrist crease, in the depression between radius and ulnar.
Indications: Chest pain to upper back, chest distention, chronic pain of forearm.

33.06 Huo shan / Hua San (Fire Mountain) Location: TE9 on the back of forearm, 7 cun proximal to wrist crease, in the depression between radius and ulnar.
Indications: Chest pain, chest distention, chronic pain of forearm, lower back pain, sciatica.

33.07 Hua Fu Hai / Hua Fu Hoi (Fire Bowels Sea) Location: On the dorsal aspect of the forewarm, 9 cun proxiaml to wrist crease, in the depression between the radius and ulnar.
Indications: Cough, asthma, common cold, rhinitis, sciatica, lower leg soreness, lower back soreness, vertigo, dizziness, floater in eye/vision, tired/fatigue.

33.08 Shou Wu Jin / Soo Oh Keum (Hand five sold) Location: On the ulnar side of forearm, 6.5 cun proximal to the wrist crease, on the line connecting SI5 and SI8 in the groove between the anterior border of the muscle belly of flexor carpi ulnaris.
Indications: Sciatica, abdominal pain, lower leg pain and numbness, high cholesteral, occipital headache, detoxification (medicine,food), furuncle.

33.09 Shou Qian Jin / Soo Chun Keum (thousand gold hand) Location: On the ulnar side of forearm..8 cun proximal to wrist crease, in the groove between anterior border of the ulnar and muscle belly of flexor carpi ulnaris.
Indications: Sciatica, abdominal pain, lower leg pain and numbness, high cholesteral, occipital headache, detoxification (medicine,food), furuncle.

33.10 Chang men / Jang Mun (Intestine door) Location: Ulnar side, 3 cun proximal to wrist crease, in the groove between the anterior border of the ulnar and the mucle belly of flexor carpi ulnaris.
Indications: Enteritis, vertigo, cholecystitis, vomiting.

33.11 Gan Men / Ga Mun (Liver door) Location: Ulnar side, 6 cun proximal to the wrist crease, on the line connecting SI5 and SI8 in the groove between the anterior border of the muscle belly of flexor carpi ulnaris.
Indications: Acute hepatitis, enteritis, stuffy chest, chest pain, hypochondriac pain, pain of medial aspect of thigh.

33.12 Xin Men / Xim Mun (Heart Door) Location: Ulnar side, 1.5 cun distal to the elbow crease, on the line connecting SI5 and SI8 in the groove between the anterior border of the muscle belly of flexor carpi ulnaris.
Indications: Endocarditis, palpitations, stuffy chest, vomiting, sciatica, coccyx pain.

33.13 Ren Shi / Yin Sa (Scholarly person) Location: On the palmar side of the forearm, 4 cun proximal to the wrist crease, on the line connecting LU9 with LU5.
Indications: Asthma, pain of palms and fingers, shoulder pain, upper back pain, chest pain, palpitations, albumiuria.

33.14 Di Shi / Ji Sa (Earthly Scholar) Location: LU6, On the palmar side of the forearm, 7 cun proximal to the wrist crease, on the line connecting LU9 with LU5.
Indications: Asthma, heart disease, common cold, headache, KD def., lowr back pain, Shan disorder, constipation.

33.15 Tian shi / Chun Sa (Heavenly Scholar) Location: On the palmar side of the forearm, 2 cun proximal to the wrist crease, on the line connecting LU9 with LU5.
Indications: Asthma, thinitis, shoulder pain, common cold, chest distention, bronchitis.

33.16 Qu Ling / Kock Reung (Curved mound) Location: LU5: On the cubital crease of the elbow, in the depression at the radial side of the tendon of biceps brachii.
Indications: Colonic spasms, asthma, elbow arthritis, palpatations, frozen shoulder, tinnitus, otalgia, headache.

Xin Ryung (Heart Spirit) Location: On the palmar side of forearm, 1.5,2.5,3.5 cun proximal to the wrist crease between tendons of palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis.
3 points Indications: Endocarditis, angina pectoris, arrhythmia, cardiomegaly, myocardial infraction.

Tung Area 44 Korean Name:

44.01 Fen Jin / Boon Keum (divide gold) Location: On the antero-lateral aspect of the upper arm, 7.5 cun inferior to the axillary fold and 1.5 cun superior to elbow crease,
in the depression between the lateral border of the biceps brachii muscle and shaft of humerus.
Indication: common cold, rhinitis, laryngitis.

44.02 Hou Zhi / Hoo Chu (Back vetebra) Location: When elbow is flexed, 1.5 cun proximal to TE10. TE10 is in the depression I cun proximal to the olecranon.
TE14 in the depression posterior and inferior to the lateral extremity of the acromion.
Indication: Sublaxation of spinal comumn, nephritis, lower back pain.

44.03 Shou Ying / Soo Yong (Head Wisdom) Location: On the upper arm, on a line between drawn between TE10 and TE14, 3.5 cun proximal to TE10
Indication: Sublaxation of spinal comumn, nephritis, lower back pain.

44.04 Fu Ding / Bu Jung (Top wealth) Location: On the upper arm, on a line drawn between TE10 and TE14, 6 cun proximal to TE10.
Indication: Taxation, high blood pressure, dizziness, headache.

44.05 Hou zhi / Hoo Ji (Back branch) Location: On the upper arm, on a line drawn between TE10 and TE14, 7 cun proximal to TE10.
Indication: High blood pressure, dizziness, headache, skin disease, arteriosclerosis.

44.06 Jian Zhong / Kyen Joong (Shoulder Middle) Location: On the lateral side of the upper arm, the center of deltoid muscle, 2.5 cun distal to Quchi LI15, on line connecting LI11 and LI15.
LI15: In the depression lies anterior to the acromion, at the origin of the deltoid mucle.
Indication: Knee pain, skin diseases on neck, infantile paralysis (polio), hemiplegia, palpitations, atherosclerosis, epistaxis, shoulder pain.

44.07 Bei Mian / Bae Myun (Back surface) Location: LI 15: In the depression which lies anterior to the acromion, at the origin of the deltoid muscle.
Indication: Abdominal distention, low voice, vomiting, fatigue.

44.08 Ren Zhong / Yin Jong (Ancestor person) Location: LI 13: On the lateral side of the upper arm, 3 cun proxiaml to LI 11, on the line connecting LI 11 and LI 15.
Indication: Elbow swollen and pain, jaundice, four limbs pain/sweling, splenomegaly, common cold, asthma.

44.09 Di Zhong / Ji Jong (Earth Ancestor) Location: On the lateral side of the upper arm, 6 cun proximal to LI 11, on the line connectiong LI 11 with LI 15 (1 cun below LI 14)
Indication: Heart disease, atheriosclerosis, coma.

44.10 Tian zhong / Chun Jong (Heaven ancestor) Location: On the lateral side of the upper arm, 9 cun proximal to LI 11, on the line connectiong LI 11 with LI 15 (2 cun below LI 14)
